TEMPERATURES:
Maximum temperatures were below normal by 23° C at one or two places over north Uttar Pradesh and Saurashtra & Kutch. They were above normal by 24° C over some parts of Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, north interior Karnataka, south Tamilnadu, Odisha and northeastern states and near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 41.6°C was recorded at Nanded & Sholapur (Maharashtra) and Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) in the plains of country.
 
RAINFALL : Light rain/thundershowers occurred at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir, Vidarbha, Telengana, coastal Odisha, south interior Karnataka and northeastern states. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The rainfall amounts of (1 cm or more) was recorded at 1730 hours IST of yesterday were: Kupwara1.
 
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over many parts of Jammu & Kashmir and over some parts of south Bay of Bengal and south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over remaining parts of western Himalayan region, north Rajasthan, Punjab, north Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, south Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala.
