♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 46° C over some parts of west Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttarakhand and by 23°
C over Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Gujarat region, Marathawada, West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states and interior peninsular India. They are below normal by 23°
C over isolated pockets of east Madhya Pradesh and Konkan and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 13.6°C has been recorded at Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) in plains of the country.
♦ RAINFALL :Rain/thundershower has occurred at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir and Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Kerala and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north Rajasthan, Meghalaya and Marathawada. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Punalur2 and Kokernag, Thiruvananthapuram, Ganganagar and Itanagar1 each.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective cloud over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and south Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds over parts of rest western Himalayan region, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, northwest Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Arunachal Pradesh.
