♦ FOG: At 1430 hours IST: Visibility is 1000 m or more over most parts of Indo Gangetic plains due to lifting of fog except some parts of east Uttar Pradesh
where it is less than 1000 m due to fog.
♦ TEMPERATURES: Cold wave conditions are prevailing over some parts of west Rajasthan, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh. Minimum temperatures are below normal by 23°C. over remaining parts of northwest & central India, Gujarat and Bihar. The lowest minimum temperature of 0.0°C has been recorded at Narnaul (Haryana) in plains of the country.
♦ RAINFALL:: Weather remained mainly dry over the country.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of south Bay of Bengal and southwest Arabian sea. Low/medium
clouds are seen over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Puducherry, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
♦ The trough of low at mean sea level over southwest Bay of Bengal with embedded an upper air cyclonic circulation extending upto midtropospheric
levels persists.
♦ The upper air trough in lower levels from Assam to north Bay of Bengal persists.
