♦ RAINFALL: Rainfall has occurred at many places over Haryana & Delhi,
Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over
Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland,
Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or
two places over rest parts of the country out side Punjab, Manipur,
Marathwada, Coastal & North interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema. The
chief amounts of rainfall (2 cm and above) recorded at 1730 hours IST
of today are: Basirhat5, Dharamshala4, Bhiwani and Tuni3 each and
Hardoi, Baghdogra, Dhubri and Ongole2 each.
♦ The southwest monsoon has been active over Bihar, east Uttar
Pradesh, Punjab and east Rajasthan during past 24 hours ending at
0830 hours IST of today.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective
clouds over parts of Rajasthan, East Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, West
Bengal, northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, east
Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and southeast Arabian Sea.Low/medium clouds
are seen over rest parts of the country.
