Monsoon News India 23 June 2012 Rainfall Report Forecast
·The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continues to passe through Lat 21.0°N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat 21.0°N/ Long. 65.0°E, Veraval, Navsari, Malegaon, Betul, Jabalpur, Siddhi, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Lat 28.0°N/ Long. 83.0°E on 22ndnd June 2012.
·The Satellite Kalpana-1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over eastern & northeastern states, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Vidarbha, Telangana, Kerala, eastcentral & southeast Arabian Sea, Comorin area and north Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana and West Rajasthan.
·Southwest monsoon was vigorous over Jharkhand and active over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Chhattisgarh during past 24 hours.
