·Southwest monsoon has further advanced into remaining parts of Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, some more parts of east Madhya Pradesh and some parts of east Uttar Pradesh.
·The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) passes through Lat 21.0°N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat 21.0°N/ Long. 65.0°E, Veraval, Navsari, Malegaon, Betul, Jabalpur, Siddhi, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Lat 28.0°N/ Long. 83.0°E on 21st June 2012.

·The Satellite Kalpana-1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of East Uttar Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, eastern & northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh and central & north Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Rajasthan and Punjab.
·Southwest monsoon was active over Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha and Jharkhand during past 24 hours.
