Weather Report India 10 April 2012 Climate Forecast


TEMPERATURES: Yesterday's maximum temperatures rose by 24° C over some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal and Andhra Pradesh and a little changed elsewhere over rest parts of the country. They were above normal by 25° C over many parts of northwest & central India and some parts of Orissa, Gujarat and Maharashtra. They were below normal by 310° C over northeastern states, West Bengal & Sikkim and Bihar. The highest maximum temperature of 43.4°C was recorded at Wardha (Maharashtra).
RAINFALL :Rain/thundershowers has occurred at many places over northeastern States; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir and at one or two places over SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, north coastal Orissa, south Chhattisgarh and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hrs IST of yesterday were: Agartala, Dibrugarh and Kodaikanal1 each.
CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, Sikkim, west Assam. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of Jharkhand, Orissa and south peninsular India.
