There will be showers at times in the Eastern, North, North-central and Uva provinces, and along the Eastern slopes of the Central hills.

Thunder showers will develop at several places elsewhere particularly during the afternoon or evening.

There may be temporary localized fairly strong winds during thundershowers.

General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
