♦ Fog: At 1730 hours IST of today, fog/dense fog has been observed in isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh, north Haryana and Delhi. The stations where visibility reported to 200 M or less are: Aligarh, Bahraich, Bareilly and Karnal.
♦ TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures rose by 24°C over parts of Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, south Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh; fell by 25°C over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere in the country. They are above normal by 24°C over many parts of central and peninsular India and are below normal by 24°C over some parts of western Himalayan region and west Uttar Pradesh and are near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 35.3°C has been recorded at Gulbarga (Karnataka) in plains of the country.
♦ RAINFALL : Rain/snow has occured at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir and at one or two places over Himachal Pradesh. Rainfall has occured at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and light rainfall has occured at one or two places over Assam, West Bengal & Sikkim and Orissa. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amount of rainfall (in cm ) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today is: Passighat1.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, north Rajasthan, Orissa, Gangetic West Bengal, northeastern states and south peninsular India
