BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30) hrs MST today, very severe cyclonic storm " THANE" over Southwest Bay has crossed Tamilnadu Coast, near South of Chinnai ( India). Weather is cloudy in the Southwest Bay and West Central Bay and Partly cloudy in the Andaman sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 31st DECEMBER, 2011: Likelihood of isolated light rain in Mandalay, Magway and Taninthayi Regions, Shan and Rakhine States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%)
STATE OF THE SEA: Strong Easterly wind with moderate to rough seas arr likely at time off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) mph.
OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of slight decrease of night temperatures in Upper Myanmar areas.
