Synoptic Situation: Yesterday’s deep depression over Southeast Bay and adjoining area moved North-westwards and intensified into a cyclonic storm “Thane” (ECP 994 HPA) and now lies over the same area. It is likely to intensify further and move in a Northwesterly direction.
Forecast: Weather is likely to remain mainly dry with tempo. partly cloudy sky over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur over the country during mid night till morning. Mild cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Tangail, Mymensingh, Pabna, Rangpur, Jessore and Kushtia  and it may abate.

Temperature: Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
