♦ FOG:  At 1730 hours IST of today, fog has been observed over isolated pockets of west Uttar Pradesh, northwest  Madhya Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi.

♦   RAINFALL (from 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of  today ):  Rainfall has occurred at many places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Carnicobar­5, Hut­ bay and Nan Cowry­3 each.

♦  TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures changed a little over the country during past 24  hours. They  are  above  normal  by   2­4°C over  many  parts  of the  country outside interior peninsular India, north Madhya Pradesh and  Chhattisgarh where they are   near  normal and  below normal by  5­7°C over  some  parts  of southwest Uttar Pradesh. The highest maximum temperature of 36.0°C has been recorded at Baroda
(Gujarat) and Karwar (Karnataka) in plains of the country.

♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over  parts  of south  Bay  of Bengal, south  Andaman  Sea  and  south  Arabian  Sea. Low/medium   clouds   are   seen   over   parts   of   western   Himalayan   region   and   south Peninsular India


WEATHER WARNINGS: Visibility may reduce below 200 m over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan and northwest Madhya Pradesh and isolated pockets of east Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
