♦   FOG: Fog/dense fog has been observed over many parts of Haryana, Delhi and west Uttar   Pradesh   and   over   some   parts   of  Punjab,   east   Uttar   Pradesh   and   Bihar.

♦  The stations where visibility reduced to 200m or less in dense fog are: Sundernagar, Karnal, Delhi  (Palam  & Safdarjung), Meerut, Aligarh,  Agra, Gwalior,  Lucknow,  Hardoi,  Fatehgarh, Kanpur, Hamirpur and Patna.

♦  RAINFALL (from 0830 hours IST of yesterday to 0830  hours IST of today): Rainfall has occurred at a few  places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over Tamilnadu, Kerala  and  Lakshadweep. Weather  remained  mainly  dry  over  rest parts  of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Pamban­ 3 and Minicoy­1.

♦  TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures  are above normal by  2­4°C over northwest and central India and by 1­3°C over  parts of east India. They are near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 9.4°C was recorded at Jalgaon (Maharashtra) in plains of the country.

♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of   south   Bay   of   Bengal,   south   Andaman   Sea,   Comorin   area   and   south   Arabian   Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of Jammu & Kashmir and south Peninsular India.
