Synoptic Situation: The well marked low over east central Bay and adjoining Southeast Bay moved northwards and rapidly intensified into a deep depression over North Bay and adjoining area. It was centred at 19, 0900 UTC within half a degree lat. 20.7◦ N & long 91.0 E ® lat 20.7◦ N ® long 91.0 E. It is likely to intensify into a cyclone storm and move north-northeastwards and may cross Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar coast by to night (19 October 2011).

Forecast: Light to moderate rain/T.showers accompanied by tempo. gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at most places over Chittagong division and at a few places over Barisal and Khulna divisions and at one or two places over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Rangpur and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over Barisal and Chittagong divisions.

Temperature: Day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
