♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat region, Saurashtra & Kutch, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal & Sikkim, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala; at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, East Madhya Pradesh and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at a few places over West Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Vidarbha, South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu & Pudducherry; at isolated places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Darjeeling-11; Kalimpong, Pendra & Sundargarh-9 each; Cherrapunji, Contai & Veraval-8 each; Ambala, Bareilly, Gangtok, Tadong, Datia, Gondia, Kandla, New Kandla, Porbander, Diu, Bulsar, Tirupathi, Bilaspur & Atiramapatnam-6 each; Canning, Jharsuguda, Cuttack, Puri & Rajkot-5 each; Hirakud, Sambalpur & Raipur-4 each; Mumbai (Santacruze), Bankura, Coochbehar, Durg, Naliya, Dwarka, Mahuva, Balurghat, Kudimiamalai, Pudducherry-3; Ludhiana, Solan, Nahan, Malda, Kolkata (Alipore), Diamond Harbour, Angul, Paradeep, Titlagarh, Koraput, Khajuraho, Satna, Ambikapur, Jagdalpur, Numgambakkam, Baghdogra, Berhampur, Baroda, Krishnanagar, Burdwan, Banda, & Surat-2 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-3°C at many places over West Rajasthan & Jharkhand; at a few places over East Rajasthan & Uttarakhand; at isolated places over Madhya Pradesh. They are below normal by 2-3°C at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh & Chhattisgarh; at isolated places Rayalaseema & Tamilnadu & Pudducherry and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, West Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, West Bengal & Sikkim, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Coastal Andra Pradesh, Telangana, Comorin area, Arabian sea and north Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
