♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Tamilnadu & Pudducherry, Kerala and Lakshadweep area; at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and Coastal Karnataka; at isolated places over Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, interior Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Thiruvananthapuram-9; Paramathy-8; Tezpur & Dharmapuri-7 each; Cooch Behar, Kailashahar & Lengpui-5 each; Baghdogra & Jalpaiguri-4 each; Kupwara, Palakkad & Kodaikanal-3 each; Gulmarg, Srinagar, Pahalgaon, Dhubri, North Lakhimpur, Itanagar, Rangia, Long Island, Bangalore, Kochin & Karipur-2 each and Jammu, Qazigund, Pasighat, Aijzawal, Sangli, Kolahpur, Belgaum, Vellore, Salem, Thanjavur, Tondi, Madurai, Periakulum, Punalur, Salem, Valprai & Kanniyakumari-1 each.
♦ Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2-4°C at most places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi; at many places over Punjab, Rajasthan and Bihar; at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Gujarat region; at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal & Sikkim, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Saurashtra & Kutch and Madhya Maharashtra. They are below normal by 2-3°C at many places over Tamilnadu; at a few places over Telangana and Rayalaseema and at isolated places over Assam & Meghalaya, Odisha and East Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Odisha, interior Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, southeast Arabian sea, Comorin area, Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat region.
