♦ Rainfall: Rain/thundershower has occurred at many places over Kerala; at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Uttarakhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Meghalaya, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Tamilnadu.The amounts of rainfall (1 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Tadong,Gangtok­3 each; Cochin Nedumbassery and Karipur­2 each; Salem & Kolkatta­1 each. 

♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2­5°C at many places over Jammu & Kashmir, West Rajasthan and Saurashtra & Kutch and at isolated places over Madhya Maharashtra and Konkan & Goa. They were below normal by 5­7°C at most places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand; at many places over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and West Bengal & Sikkim and at a few places over Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand; by 2­4°C at most places over Telengana ; at many places over East madhya Pradesh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema; at a few places over Himachal Pradesh, Tamilnadu and south Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Vidarbha, Assam & Meghalaya and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and near normal over rest of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 45.5°C has recorded at Jaisalmer (Rajasthan). 

♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, southeast Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Punjab, Haryana, West Rajasthan and Gujarat.
