♦  Rainfall : Rain / thundershowers  has occurred at many places over  Coastal Karnataka and Tamilnadu; at isolated places over Rayalaseema. Weather remained dry over rest of the country. Amount of rainfall recorded (in cm) at 1730 hours IST of today are: Tuni and Karaikal­1 each.

♦ Maximum temperatures are below normal by 5­9°C at most places over Punjab, East Uttar Pradesh and Bihar;  at a few places over north Madhya Pradesh; and at isolated over West Uttar Pradesh; by 2­4°C at most places over rest Madhya Pradesh, West Rajasthan and Coastal Andhra Pradesh; at many places over  East Rajasthan, Gangetic West Bengal  and Odisha; at isolated places over Gujarat state, Vidarbha and Madhya Maharashtra. They are  above normal by 2­5°C at most places over Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal and northeastern states; at a few places over Karnataka and Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at isolated places over Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country. The lowest maximum temperature of 11.0°C recorded at Bahraich ( Uttar Pradesh ) in plains of the country.

Kalpana : Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir,   Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Central & South Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over   Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand,  Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim,  northeastern states,  Odisha, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Andhra Pradesh, South & North Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep area, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and south peninsular India.
