♦   Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers occurred   at most places over Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu; at many places over northeastern States, West Bengal & Sikkim, Telengana and Lakshadweep; at a few places over Chhattisgarh & Bihar and at isolated places over Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Odisha, rest Andhra Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Gujarat region and Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry / dry over rest parts of the country. The amounts of rainfall (4 cm or more) recorded at 0830 IST of  today are: Pasighat­17; Cherrapunji & Thanjavur­8 each; Kodaikanal­7; Honavar & Daltonganj­6 each; Gadag, Madurai  & Koppal­5 each and Punalur & Bijapur­4 each.

♦  Temperature: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 2­3°C at a few places over East Rajasthan & West Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places over northwest Madhya Pradesh, interior Maharashtra & coastal Odisha. They are below normal by 2­4°C at a few places over western Himalayan region & at isolated places over interior Odisha & Tamilnadu and near normal over rest of the country.

♦  Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 1430 hours IST of today shows convective clouds over some parts of  Bihar, Jharkhand,   East   Madhya   Pradesh,   Chhattisgarh,   Odisha,   West   Bengal   &   Sikkim,   Assam   &   Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura, Madhya Maharashtra, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, east Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and  eastcentral & southeast Arabian sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
