♦  Rainfall:Rain/thundershowers occurred at most places over east Uttar Pradesh; 
at many places over West Bengal & Sikkim, Assam Meghalaya,  Chhattisgarh, Marathwada, Konkan & Goa, Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Lakshadweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at a few places over west Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu and at isolated places  over Himachal Pradesh, Uttrakhand, Haryana & Delhi, Jharkhand and  Odisha. Weather remained mainly dry/dry over rest of the country. The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are:  Fursatganj36; Bahraich34; Barabanki19; Pasighat11; Cherrapunji10; Karaikal9; Kurnool8; Bijapur and Nalgonda7;   Lucknow, Dhubri and Bapatala5 each; Amini Divi, Jeur, Goalpara,Silchar, Long Island, Ongole4 each; Bhagalpur, Halflong, Pendra, Aurangabad, Ratnagiri, Nagappattinam, Honavar, Bajpe, Raichur, Bellary, Pendra, Bhopal and Perikulam3 each; Nahan, Shahjahanpur, Sultanpur, Krishnanagar, Bir, Aurangabad, Tinsukhiya2 each.
    ♦   Temperature: Yesterday Heat   wave conditions were prevailed at isolated pockets of east Rajasthan and west Madhya Pradesh. Maximum temperature  of  41.0° C or more recorded at:  Kota  & Chittorgarh41.9 each; Barmer 41.5; Churu 41.3; Bikaner 41.2  and Hissar 41.0.Minimum temperatures were  above  normal  by  24°C at many  places  over east  Rajasthan, Gujarat State, west   Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra; at few places over Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya; and at isolated places over  Uttrakhand, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. They are below normal by 25°C at  a few places  over  Uttar Pradesh and Uttrakhand and at isolated places over Himachal Pradesh and Rayalaseema and near normal over rest parts of the country.
    ♦ Kalpana1: Cloud imagery of 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of   Uttarakhand,   Uttar Pradesh,   northeast Bihar, Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Rayalaseema,  south interior Karnataka, south Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea and east Arabian sea.  Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, west Rajasthan and Saurashtra & Kutch
