TEMPERATURES: Yesterday, maximum temperatures were above normal by 35°
C at many places over northeastern states and at one or two places over coastal Tamilnadu. They were near normal or below normal at many places over rest of the
country.

RAINFALL: Rainfall occurred at most places over Punjab, Uttarakhand, Konkan & Goa, Andaman & Nicobar Islands; at many places over Haryana & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra & Kutch, Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Maharashtra and Kerala; at a few places over Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal & Sikkim, Chhattisgarh and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura and at one or two places over Assam & Meghalaya. Chief amounts of rainfall (4 cms or more) recorded at 1730 IST of yesterday were: Dehradun15, Mumbai(Clb)13, Delhi (Palam)12, Mahabaleshwar11, Mumbai(Scz)10, Khandwa9, Bhira5, Delhi (Safdarjung), Agra, Balia, Meerut, Jorhat and Nizamabad4 each.

Kalpana1: Cloud imagery at 0530 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, north Madhya Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Konkan, Gujarat state, southeast & adjoining central Bay of Bengal, Andaman sea, north & central Arabian sea and Lakshadweep. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
