♦ TEMPERATURES: Minimum temperatures are above normal by 24° C over some parts of western Himalayan region, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, West Bengal & Sikkim and interior peninsular India. They are below normal by 23° C over Konkan & Goa and isolated pockets of east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and interior Odisha and near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 14.5°C has been recorded at Ujjain ( Madhya Pradesh) in the country.
♦ RAINFALL: Light rain/thundershower has occurred at one or two places over Meghalaya and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest of the country.
♦ CLOUDS: Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective cloud over some parts of north Jammu & Kashmir. Low/medium clouds over rest western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states and south peninsular India.
