·The Southwest Monsoon has been vigorous over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu & Pondicherry and active over Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Bihar and Telangana during past 24 hours..
·The Satellite Kalpana-1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, north interior Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, central & south Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country.
