Monsoon News India 11 June 2012 Rainfall Forecast Report


·The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continues to pass through Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 60.0° E, Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 65.0° E, Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 70.0° E, Harnai, Satara, Belgaum, Agumbe, Medikeri, Kodaikanal, Lat 10.0° N/ Long. 80.0° E, Lat 12.0° N/ Long. 86.0° E, Lat 18.0° N/ Long. 90.0° E, Lat 23.0° N/ Long. 91.0° E and Gangtok on 9thth June.
 
·Conditions are favourable for further advance of southwest monsoon into some more parts of interior Karnataka, remaining parts of Tamilnadu, some parts of south Andhra Pradesh, remaining parts of south Bay of Bengal and some more parts of central and north Bay of Bengal during next 2-3 days.

·The Satellite Kalpana1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Gangetic West Bengal, northeastern states, Andhra Pradesh, Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest parts of the country outside Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
