♦  TEMPERATURES: Maximum temperatures are below normal by 2­5°C over some parts of western Himalayan region and many parts of Punjab, Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. They are above normal by 2­3°C over  parts  of Orissa, Telangana, interior  Karnataka and north Tamilnadu and
near  normal  over  rest of the  country. The  highest maximum temperature  of 36.4°C has been recorded at Rentachintala (Andhra Pradesh) in non coastal areas of the country.
♦   RAINFALL  : Very   light rain/snowfall has occured at a few places over Jammu & Kashmir. Light rainfall has   occurred   at   one   or   two   places   over   Bihar,   Jharkhand   and   north Chhattishgarh.
♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1 cloud imagery  at 1730 hours IST shows  convective clouds over  parts of  Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and some parts of southwest   Bay   of   Bengal.   Low/medium   clouds   are   seen   over   parts   of   rest western Himalayan region, east Rajasthan, Uttar  Pradesh, Maharashtra, east
and peninsular India.
