FOG: Fog/shallow fog has been observed 0830 hours IST over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and west Uttar Pradesh. The stations which has reported visibility less 500 m are: Ludhiana, Patiala, Ambala, New Delhi (Safdarjung) and Agra.

TEMPERATURES:
Minimum temperatures fell by 24° C over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarakhand, Punjab, north Maharashtra and Saurashtra & Kutch; rose by 24° C over east Uttar Pradesh, east Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh,east & northeast India and changed a little elsewhere. They were below normal by 23° C over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, north Maharashtra, south interior Karnataka and north eastern States; above normal by 35° C over Haryana, west Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, north interior Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand and Gangetic west Bengal. They were near normal over rest parts of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 6.0°C has been recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in plains of the country.

RAINFALL : Rain/snowfall has occured at most places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at a few places over Uttrakhand. Rainfall has occured at one or two places over Punjab, Haryana, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Arunachal Pradesh. Chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Baderwah and Quazigund5 each, Pahalgam4 each, Banihal and Batote3 each, Srinagar and Kukernag2 each and Kupwara, Katra and Dharamsala1 each.

CLOUDS:
Kalpana1 cloud imagery at 0830 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of western Himalayan region, Punjab, north Haryana and south Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region and northwest India, Bihar,Jharkhand, SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
