Weather Report India 13 January 2012 Climate Forecast



 FOG:  fog/dense fog observed in morning hours over some parts of east Uttar Pradesh and in isolated pockets of Delhi and Bihar. The stations where visibility reduce to 200M or less are :
Delhi, Kanpur, Fursatganj,Bahraich, Sultanpur, Gorakhpur, Dehri and Purnea.
♦  TEMPERATURES: Cold wave conditions are prevailing over many parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and some parts of Jharkhand, Orissa, Rajasthan, north Maharashtra and isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana and west Uttar  Pradesh. The stations where minimum temperature recorded as 4°C or less are: Amritsar, Ludhiana, Patiala, Hissar, Rohtak, Narnaul, Sikar, Churu, Jaipur, Swaimadhopur, Agra, Nazibabad, Hamirpur, Datia, Damoh, Umaria and Mandla.  Minimum temperatures are below normal by 2­6°C over many parts of central and adjoining east and peninsular India and over some parts of northwest India. Lowest minimum temperature of ­0.2°C recorded at Churu (Rajasthan ) in plains of the country.
♦  RAINFALL : Rain/snow  occurred at many places over Uttarakhand, at a few places over Himachal Pradesh and at  one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir. Rainfall has occurred  at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and northeastern states and at one or two places over  West Bengal & Sikkim and coastal Orissa .The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are :  Carnicobar­ 15,Noncowry­5,  Kanyakumari­3,Shimla, Ongole and Nellore­1 each.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of  east Jammu & Kashmir, southeast Bay of Bengal and south Andaman Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest western Himalayan region, south peninsular India and northeastern states
