Weather Report India 12 January 2012 Climate Forecast



♦   Northeast  monsoon rains have ceased over Tamil Nadu & Puducherry, Kerala and adjoining parts of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka on today, the 10th January, 2012.
♦   TEMPERATURES: Cold day conditions  has been observed over some parts of  Uttar Pradesh. Maximum temperatures are below normal by 5­8°C over some parts of Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, north Orissa and Gujarat region and by 3­4°C over rest parts of northwest, west, central and east India. They are above normal by 2­3°C over parts of south Peninsular India and near normal over rest parts of the country. The highest maximum temperature of 34.6°C recorded at Anantapur (south Andhra Pradesh) in peninsular India.
♦  RAINFALL : Rainfall has occured   at a few places over   Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa and northcoastal Andhra Pradesh and at one or two places over western Himalayan region and rest Andhra Pradesh. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Vijayawada­7, Bapatla­ 5, Angul­2, Balasore, Digha, Bhubaneswar, Keonjhargarh, Baripada and Phulbani­1 each.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows low/medium clouds are seen over parts of western Himalayan region, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, east and northeast India.
