♦  Fog: Dense to very dense fog has been observed over many parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi and over some parts of Bihar, Punjab and sub­Himalayan West Bengal. The stations where visibility reported to 50 M or  less are: Chandigarh, Patiala, Rohtak, Karnal, Hissar, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Delhi, Shahjahanpur, Bhiwani, Pantnagar, Bareilly, Hardoi, Bahraich, Barabanki, Lucknow, Kanpur, Hamirpur, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia, Purnea, Burdwan, Baghdogra, Jalpaiguri, Cooch Behar, Dinajpur, Halflong, Hosangabad, Malanjkhand, Rajnandgaon and Raipur.
♦   TEMPERATURES:  Minimum   temperatures   fell   by   1­2°C   over   some   parts   of   east   Uttar   Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and rose by 3­5°C over many parts of Western Himalayan region, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, west Madhya Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and rose by 1­2°C over rest parts of the country. They are above normal by 2­6°C  over most parts of the country except Gujarat region where they are near normal. The lowest minimum temperature of  3.0°C  has been recorded at  Amritsar (Punjab)  in
plains of the country.
♦  RAINFALL: Rain/snow  has occured at many places over Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh and at one or two places over Uttarakhand. Rainfall has occured at many places over Arunachal Pradesh; at a few places over Sikkim and Assam and at a one or two places over Nagaland, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amount of rainfall (in cm )  recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Manali­2, Passighat, Bhuntar and Pahalgaon­1each.
♦   CLOUDS:  Kalpana­1  Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir, south Arabian sea, Comorin area and  southeast Bay of Bengal. Low/medium clouds are seen   over   parts   of   rest   western   Himalayan   region,   Punjab,   Rajasthan,   Orissa,   Gangetic   West   Bengal, northeastern states and extreme south peninsular India.
