♦  FOG:  At 0830 hrs IST of today, fog/dense fog has been observed over some parts of Punjab, Haryana and Delhi and  at isolated pockets of west Uttar Pradesh and north Rajasthan. The stations where visibility reported to 50 or less are; Ambala, Bhiwani, Delhi, Jaipur and Aligarh.
  TEMPERATURES:  Minimum temperatures rose by 2­4°C over Madhya Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere.  They are below normal by 2­5°C over some parts of  Saurashtra & Kutch, west Rajasthan and Kerala and are above normal by 6­8°C over many parts of central and  adjoining east & Peninsular India and
by 2­5°C over many parts of rest of the country and near normal elsewhere over the country. The lowest minimum temperature of 2.2°C has been recorded at Bikaner air port (Rajasthan)  in the plains of the country.
♦  RAINFALL :  Rain/snowfall occured  at one or two places over  Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. Rainfall has occured at most places over east Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, east Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Sub­ Himalayan west Bengal & Sikkim; at many places over west Uttar Pradesh, Gangetic West Bengal and northeastern states; at a few places over Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over   Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (3 cm and above)  recorded at 0830 hours IST of today are: Seoni­7, Barabanki, Lucknow, Ranchi and Bilaspur­5 each, Behraich, Sultanpur, Daltonganj, Pendra and Champa­4 each and Hardoi, Allahabad, Fursatganj, Sidhi and Umaria­3 each.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of southeast Bay of Bengal, Andaman  Sea  and  southeast Arabian  sea.   Low/medium clouds  are  seen  over  parts  of western Himalayan region, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, central, east, peninsular and northeast India.
