Weather Report Myanmar 27 December 2011 Climate Forecast



SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED AT 09:30 hr M.S.T. During the past (24) hours, light rain has been isolated in Ayeyawady Region, weather has been partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C)to(4°C)above December average temperatures in  Mandalay,  Yangon, Ayeyarwady Regions, Chin,  Shan , Kayah and Mon States, (5°C) to (6°C) above December average temperatures in Magway Region and Kachin and Rakhine  States and about December average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperatures were Pinlaung (3°C), Putao,  Machanbaw,  Hakha  and Ann  (8°C) each.
 BAY INFERENCE: According to the observations at (12:30)hrs MST today, the depression over South Bay adjoining central Bay has moved to West wards and it is centered at about (490)miles Southeast of Chennai, India (about (560) miles Southwest of Coco Island, Myanmar). It is forecast to move West - Northwest wards. Weather is cloudy in the South and Central Bay and Partly cloudy in the Andaman sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.
  FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 27th DECEMBER, 2011: Weather will be partly cloudy in Kachin, Kayah, Kayin and Mon States and with likelihood of isolated rain in the remaining Regions and States. Degree of certainty is (60%)
 STATE OF THE SEA:   Squally with rough seas will be experience off and along Myanmar Coasts. Surface wind speed in squalls may reach (40) m.p.h.
 OUTLOOK FOR SUBSEQUENT TWO DAYS: Likelihood of isolated rain in the Coastal Area.
