♦ Fog: Fog/dense fog has been  observed over many parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh and some parts of north & east Rajasthan and Bihar. The stations where visibility reduced to 50 m or less are: Amritsar, Karnal, Delhi and Hamirpur.
♦  TEMPERATURES: cold wave conditions are prevailing over some parts of Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, north Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, north Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand. The minimum temperatures of 4°C or less have been recorded at most stations in Punjab and Haryana, some stations in north Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh and one or two stations in Bihar. Minimum temperatures fell by 2­3°C over some parts of south Gujarat region and north Karnataka; rose by 2­ 3°C over isolated pockets of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, northeastern states, coastal Orissa and north coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. They are below normal by 2­5°C over many parts of plains of northwest, east & south peninsular India; some parts of central India and near normal over rest of the country. The lowest minimum temperature of ­1.6°C has been recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) in plains of the country.

♦  RAINFALL (from 0830 hrs IST of yesterday to 0830 hrs IST of today): Rain/thundershowers has occurred
at most places over Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Weather remained mainly dry  over rest  parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm)  recorded at 0830 hrs IST of today are: Maya Bandar­18, long Island­6, Portblair­4, Hut Bay­3 and  Car Nicobar and Nancowry­1 each.
♦  CLOUDS: Kalpana­1 Cloud imagery at 1430 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of north Jammu & Kashmir, Tamilnadu, Kerala, south interior Karnataka, south & central Bay of Bengal, south Andaman Sea and Comorin area. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, northeastern states and rest south peninsular India.
