♦  From 0830 hours IST to 1730 hours IST of today, rainfall has occurred at many places over Tamilnadu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and at one or two places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal, Assam & Meghalaya and Rayalaseema. Weather remained mainly dry over rest parts of the country. The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm)  recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Cuddalore­5   and   Chennai   (Nungambakkam),   Nagappattinam,   Tiruchchirapalli   and   Maya Bandar­1 each.
♦   Minimum temperatures changed a little over  most parts of the country. They are above normal by 2­5°C over  many parts of plains of northwest India, Bihar, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal, Gujarat, north Madhya Pradesh and north Chhattisgarh and some parts of northeastern states, north Tamilnadu and   Andaman & Nicobar  Islands and below normal by 2­5°C over some parts of Orissa , Maharashtra and Telangana. They are near normal over remaining parts of the country. The  lowest  minimum  temperature of  9.1°C  has been recorded at  Jalgaon (Maharashtra) in plains of the country.
♦   Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of east Jammu & Kashmir.  Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of rest western Himalayan region, Sub­Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, northeastern states and rest extreme  south Peninsular India.
