Weather Report Forecast 16 November 2011 Myanmar Climate




SUMMARY OF OBSERVATIONS RECORDED : During the past (24) hours, rain or thundershowers have been isolated in Yangon and Taninthayi Regions, weather has been partly cloudy in Upper Sagaing and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Mon and Kayin States and generally fair in the remaining Regions and States. Night temperatures were (3°C) above November average temperatures in Mon State, (3°C) to (4°C) below November average temperatures in Mandalay, Bago and Tanintharyi Regions, Kachin , Rakhine and Kayah States, (7°C) below November average temperatures in Upper Sagaing Region and about November average temperatures in the remaining Regions and States. The significant night temperature was Pinlaung (5°C). The noteworthy amounts of rainfall recorded was Coco Island (0.67) inch.

BAY INFERENCE: Weather is generally fair in North Bay and partly cloudy in the Andaman Sea and elsewhere in the Bay of Bengal.


FORECAST VALID UNTIL EVENING OF THE 16th NOVEMBER, 2011: Rain or thundershowers are likely to be scattered in Taninthayi Region and isolated in Upper Sagaing, Bago, Yangon and Ayeyarwady Regions, Kachin, Rakhine and Kayin States and weather will be partly cloudy in the remaining Regions and States.
