♦  From 0830 to 1730 hours IST of today, rainfall/snowfall has occurred at one or two places over Jammu & Kashmir. Rainfall has occured at a few places over  Andaman & Nicobar Islands. and at one or two places over Tamilnadu. Weather remained mainly dry over remaining parts of the country. The chief amount of rainfall recorded at 1730 hours IST of today is at Hut Bay­1 cm.

♦  Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2­4°C over many parts of Himachal Pradesh Uttarakhand, central & south Rajasthan, West Bengal, northeastern states, Gujarat,   west   Madhya   Pradesh,   south   Chhattisgarh,   Orissa,   Maharashtra   Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and some parts of southeast Punjab, north Haryana, east Uttar Pradesh,   east   Madhya   Pradesh,   north   Chhattisgarh,   Jharkhand,   Tamilnadu,
Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and below normal by 2­3°C over some parts of Jammu & Kashmir and isolated pockets of north Rajasthan. They are near normal over rest parts of the country. The  highest maximum temperature of 37.5°C has been recorded at Bhira (Maharashtra) in the country.

♦  Kalpana­1 cloud imagery at 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over parts of Jammu & Kashmir, south Bay of Bengal, Comorin area and westcentral  & north Arabian Sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over parts of Himachal Pradesh, north Punjab and Tamilnadu.
