The amounts of rainfall (2 cm or more) recorded at 1730 hours IST of today are: Shillong-7; Mahabaleshwar-6; Bhawanipatna & Gulbarga-5 each; Bilaspur-4; Durg, Ratnagiri & Jeur-3 each; Jagdalpur, Raipur, Angul, Koraput, Vengurla, Brahmapuri, Honavar & Punalur-2 each.
♦ Maximum temperatures are above normal by 2-5°C at most places over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Rajasthan, Gujarat and West Madhya Pradesh; at many places over Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Madhya Pradesh and Tamilnadu; at a few places over Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, northeastern states, Vidarbha and Kerala. They are below normal by 2-5°C at many places over Odisha; at a few places over Konkan & Goa, Rayalaseema and North Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over Telangana and near normal over rest of the country.
♦ Kalpana 1: Cloud imagery of 1730 hours IST shows convective clouds over some parts of Himachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Bihar, West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Madhya Pradesh, Marathwada, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Karnataka, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, eastcentral Arabian sea, east Bay of Bengal and Andaman sea. Low/medium clouds are seen over rest of the country.
